I’ve read some good reviews on this book, and have just ordered it.

“How the Mighty Fall,” by none other than Jim Collins.  Amazon, How the Mighty Fall – Collins

It’s sounds pretty compelling, especially after living through such a scenario a decade ago, and seeing other companies today who carry that same “we’re successful, what have we got to learn?” attitude.  In fact, it seems that the first phase of a mighty fall is: “Hubris Born of Success.”

Without naming names, do you know any similar companies currently?  What are the symptoms?  What, in your view, are the potential short-term and mid-term outcomes?
